Deciding on translation options

I'm considering how to respond to the user's request. The guidelines suggest avoiding heavy formatting unless specifically asked for it. It seems better to ask the user directly what they want and offer options. I could include a tentative translation as a guess but again, asking first seems wise.
I think I should ask: "What would you like me to do? Would you like me to: 1. Translate to English; 2. Polished/rewrite; 3. Expand into a short commentary; 4. Provide context/analysis; 5. Check the source; 6. Generate a title or social media copy?" I should also invite them to specify any tone or word count requirements.
